The Bank of Taipei Cultural Foundation is established and donated by its predecessor Dao-Jian Bank Cultural Foundation. It is officially approved by Cultural Bureau of Taipei City on 6th of October 2008.
◆17th November 2008 First board meeting of first term of foundation.
◆22nd December 2008 Second board meeting the first term of foundation.
◆9th March 2009 Third Foundation board meeting the first term of foundation.
◆19th June 2009 Orientation of Volunteer Training Classes
◆Invite well-known lecturers from various domains, to conduct
eight seminars on a variety of topics and issues.
◆17th July 2009 Establishment of Taiwan Folk Ballad Museum.
◆Collecting Taiwan Folk Ballad related old phonograph, both
original and re-arranged creations.。
◆The purpose of establishing the museum is to preserve and
prolong the very existence of traditional folk ballad. Audio
supplies are available for the use of volunteer training and
public listening.
◆18th August 2009 Formation of Folk Song Choir
◆Practice session on every second Tuesday.
◆29th October 2009 Official website of The Bank of Taipei Foundation Launched.
◆23rd November 2009 Fourth board meeting of first term of foundation.
◆1st December 2009 Sponsoring the exhibition “Painting my Hometown, Taipei” of Taiwan’s contemporary artist, Mr Yoan-He Huang.

◆27th August 2010 Sign contract with The Department of Cultural Affairs to obtain the operating right of The Taipei Mayor’s Art and Cultural Saloon.

◆2nd December 2010 Photographic Exhibition of John Frisch – Natural Light.
